Set up 2 factor authentication
This article deals with setting up two factor authentication for both the MijnBackupPartner.nl web portal and the client on the local PC.Required is a Smartphone with a Two factor authentication application. Like Google Authenticator, or Microsoft Two Factor.
We have good experience with Google Authenticator.
Log in to the following URL to set this up:
After this is on the account name in the upper right corner press -> My Account.

You will then see the following option screen, where you can move the slider to set this up.

This will open the option to scan the QR code. On your phone, open the Google Authenticator app and press the Plus sign at the bottom. After this you can scan the QR code and enter the 6 digit code to complete the process.

After this you press Save to save the changes. two factor authentication is now enabled. When starting the application or logging into the web portal two factor authentication is now required before logging in.
This way your account is much more secure and we recommend everyone to activate this!
