Creating an Image Backup

To create an image backup of your complete computer, the following steps can be followed.

You can open the MijnBackupPartner.nl software and go to a New Protected Item to add it.

Then select the Disk image option to make a backup of the entire computer.

The Disk image option can be used to backup a complete disk for later restoration.

The volume can be selected next, so here you can choose the option to backup the entire disk. Or also multiple disks. Also certain partitions can be omitted.

In the next step a number of additional options are provided. If necessary, additional settings can be made in this screen.

After this you can press next to go to the next step.

In the next step the schedule is set. This is when and what time the task should be executed.

After this you can press finish to start making the backup.

The backup task will then run and will send an email when it is complete. If something goes wrong you will also receive an error message in the mail with the exact reason.
